My wayward daughter is back home

Posted: August 7, 2007 in home

Gabby got back to Houston around 4:00 AM Monday and I picked her up at her friend’s house after work. It was so great to see her. She had been in Orlando for at least three weeks. She was ready to get back home too. I couldn’t help but ask if she was still friends with the family after spending three weeks in a hotel room (suite) with four other kids, the mom and Dad. Apparently so.

Another reason I’m so glad that she is back is that I don’t have to take care of her two cats, her two turtles, her parakeet and her many little fish that live with the turtles. They are there only as a food source for the turtles but need to be fed so that they keep breeding because they cost an absurd $1.00/dozen. Yep, the circle of life.

    Question

How often do you “que” the lil fishes for the turtles?

Ha! They kept falling between the bars of the grill.
